A Blatant Ask for Your Help TODAY with Our New Book Launch!
Looking for a good deed for the day? Here's your chance!
We’re typically slow to ask for help.
Everyone is busy. Everyone has their own problems, issues, needs, etc. Much of the time, being a mature adult means handling those things on your own.
But other times, we need each other. Sometimes for big, serious things. Sometimes for small, fun things.
We have a small, fun (for us) favor to ask.
In response to frequent questions about our nomadic lifestyle, we (New York Times bestselling author Lisa McMann and USA Today bestselling author Matt McMann) wrote a book called How to Become a Nomad: A Practical Guide to Transitioning to Full-Time Travel and Living Without a Home. It’s a short, easy-to-read guide that tells the story of how we became nomads and answers 18 questions that hold people back from making the leap to nomad life, like:
1. What do I do with all my stuff?
2. Where will I sleep every night?
3. How much does it actually cost?
4. What about mail, healthcare, and insurance?
5. Won’t I lose my relationships and community?
It’s also filled with photos from our nomadic travels around the world, like the one featured here.
We’re launching it on Amazon today. It’s our first time indie-publishing anything. (Lisa has traditionally published 33 books with all the Big Five publishers, and Matt has traditionally published 5 books with Penguin Random House).
To get the behemoth that is Amazon to push our little book up the search rankings, we need a lot of quick sales, especially on day 1 (today). The first week is critical.
If you have any interest in travel or nomad life, or you just want to be super awesome and support our writing, would you order a copy today? As a thank you to early supporters, we’re offering a special launch price of only 99 cents for the eBook and $6.99 for the paperback for the first week (then the price will increase significantly).

Ways to help:
1. Buy the book.
2. Review the book (huge for rankings).
3. Share this post.
Here’s a plug from Brent Hartinger of the popular nomadic life newsletter Brent and Michael Are Going Places:
“Curious about nomading but not sure how to begin? This is how! Matt and Lisa have written a clear, engaging guide that answers your questions. I wish this had existed when I started nomading.”
Whether you do any of the above or not, THANK YOU for taking the time to read this and for being a part of our community. We really are very grateful!

The best to you both.
I’m making notes on how to launch my own book and ask for help: thanks for showing the way!
